"Concertgoers have come to count on these superb musicians, who…continue to play with technical command, musical insight, vivid imagination and tireless enthusiasm." – The New York Times

Ralph Waldo Emerson loved music; "Music takes us out of the actual," he wrote, "and whispers to us dim secrets that startle our wonder…" It is only fitting that his namesake Quartet has awed the musical world for more than 35 years-winning nine Grammy Awards, three Gramophone Awards, and the Avery Fisher Prize among many other accolades.

The Quartet has also been featured in publications from The New Yorker and USA Today to Gramophone and The Strad, and is the subject of two award-winning documentaries.
